Thank you for visiting the site again, I've been away for some time; and honestly i think it's healthy to take a step back from something that brings you so much passion because it clears your head for a moment making your content better. Enjoy this post! Check back in for more soon.
Our goals as a species started to ensure our survival. We sought to find shelter, find nutrients to grow, and reproduce. We adapted to barren landscapes; then we made those landscapes fertile forcing the land to adapt to us. Although i think we overdo the cultivation of the land that is besides the point. Goals are natural and fundamental, humans just happen to possess a bit more neurological connections to build tools that help us achieve our goals. We strive to cross mountains, so we learned to build bridges. I want to protect history through the internet so i study Network security. It is all basically goal and reward a very fulfilling journey. The point is goals lead us places, they also drive us to be better humans for ourselves as well as the species as a large.
Look what i want out of life is to be and think positive, stay inspired and be surrounded by good energy. This of course is hard. What i mean by positive is both having positive attitudes and feelings AND Auguste Comte’s positivist thinking definition (The only real knowledge is knowledge gained through the scientific method, through experimentation and knowledge). In this way my goals are to observe, take in information, and experiment with its reaction in my own life. This positivist way of thought inspires me to change perspectives often and in a way place myself in others shoes without sacrificing my personal, moral compass. In that way i believe i can respect the goals of others and watch as my own fundamental goals are achieved with positive (the feeling now) people surrounding me.
My 10 year plan: (These are all parts of goals i have set for my life. By writing them here i hope to manifest them into reality)
Graduate college: into a field that inspires me and makes me think deep everyday.
Build a home: actually design and lay a brick on the ground (then let the real contractors work their magic) to build a home and a sanctuary for myself and my family is big big goals.
Create meaningful relationships that keep me grounded, focused, and strong.
